Russell Robertson

Pastor Russell was called out of the field of engineering into ministry as a 30 year old man. After transferring out of engineering school to Liberty University, he finished his Bachelors of Science in Religion and his Master of Divinity with a focus on Evangelism and Church Planting. He started his full-time ministry in his hometown of Hampton, Virginia at Restoration Church. After serving 2.5 years at the church as their Associate Pastor of Worship and Youth, God called him and his family to serve Onancock Baptist Church on the Eastern Shore of Virginia as their Associate Pastor of Worship and Connections where he served faithfully for nearly 9 years until his calling here at Waverly Baptist Church in October 2023. Pastor Russell has been married over 20 years to his bride April and they have one teenage son Jadon.
